The Iowa Great Lakes Shrine Club has been a part of Abu Bekr Shriner’s since the 1960’s. The members of the club are from several towns in the Lakes area, including: Lake Park, Milford, Spirit Lake, Estherville, Arnolds Park, and Others. In the 1970’s the club had small moped bikes manufactured by the Puch Company and the parade unit was known as the “Puch” Patrol. Recently the parade club switched to miniature “Indy” style go carts and The name was changed to the Mini Indy Patrol. The Mini Indy’s participate in parades during the summer months and the hold some social activities throughout the year as well.
